Your First Step Into Tech, What You Need To Start With?

The modern world is undeniably a tech-centric environment. I refer to it as a "tech village" because it continues to progress, promising countless innovations. Today, intelligence is closely linked to technological innovation, and those who excel in this area are considered smart individuals. Many manual processes have been replaced by computerized systems, including payment methods, medical laboratory procedures, media functions, and educational tools. Failing to comprehend these operations can leave one feeling left behind.

At the core of these technological advancements are data and software. Software, which is essentially a computer program designed to perform various functions, and data, which encompasses user information provided during sign-up or usage, as well as information about their device.

Data can take many forms, such as photos, voice messages, video recordings, SMS messages, likes, upvotes, lab test results like body temperature, and more.

So, what should Be Your Initial Step Into The World Of Technology?

The tech industry offers a wide range of opportunities that cater to individual interests in advanced ways. To begin, it's essential to:

1. Acquire a PC:

While phones are useful, their size and capabilities limit the acquisition of new tech skills. Owning a laptop is vital for your technological growth. As former world's richest man Bill Gates once said: 

I think it’s fair to say that personal computers have become the most empowering tool we’ve ever created. They’re tools of communication, they’re tools of creativity, and they can be shaped by their user.

2. Master Typing:

This can be easily achieved through a free resource called RapidTyping. In a short period, you can become proficient in using the QWERTY keyboard with both hands.

3. Learn Word Editing Software:

Familiarize yourself with programs like Microsoft Office or Libre Office (a free and open-source software). These tools will aid you in preparing documents and creating basic graphic designs.

4. Determine Your Area of Interest:

If you are interested in programming, you can start with HTML, CSS, and Javascript, which form the foundation of web development. You can then progress to more advanced programming languages such as Python, C++, Java, Ruby, and others. 

Keep in mind that learning programming is an ongoing process. To facilitate this, sign up with code-sharing platforms like Codepen, Github, or Stack Overflow. Personally, Codepen is my preferred tool in web development, although I occasionally utilize the others as well.

If animation is your passion, consider exploring Blender 3D or Synfig 2D animation, both of which are free and open-source.

5. Assist Others:

Many individuals require clear explanations about various technical aspects, so you can contribute by helping them.
